Connecticut Patent of the Day: Baseball’s Opening Day!

In my mind spring is now officially here. Today is opening day of Major League Baseball. So with that in mind here are a couple of baseball patents from the Nutmeg State:

William Gray, Hartford, Base Ball Mask, 1896

Edward Prindle, Torrington, 1897, Device For Use of Base Ball Pitchers. (This would make your curve a bit curvier!)
