Connecticut Patent of the Day: Floss More, More, More!!

Just back from the dentist from the semi-annual cleaning and of course I heard the semi-annual lecture of “floss more, bacteria begins to build up between your teeth within 24 hours” yada yada yada……Now of course I have the post cleaning headache which strangely enough occurs because someone is digging around between your teeth with small, sharp metal instruments. Imagine that!

Nevertheless, here’s today’s patent of the day inspired by these recent events.    Patented in August 1914, a “Dental Floss Holder” invented by Benjamin P. Walker of Bridgeport:

Flossing Each Day Keeps the Dentist Away!
